Our and Asking You!’s LIFE project – Leep1 Inclusion For Employment – will be running free training sessions for adults with a learning disability for the next couple of months.

The first set of training sessions will help people become confident trainers. The second one is about speaking up for yourself in work.

How to Train

This course will teach you how to become a confident trainer. It is over 4 sessions. To take part, you must go to all 4 of them. Here are the dates:

  • Wednesday 15th January
  • Wednesday 22nd January
  • Wednesday 29th January
  • Wednesday 5th February

All the sessions start at 10:30am and finish at 1:30pm. They are at The Advonet Group’s office, which is at this address:

Self-Advocacy in Employment

This course will teach you how to stand up for yourself in work. You do not need to have a job to join this course.

It is over 3 sessions. You must come to all 3 sessions if you want to join.

Here are the dates:

  • Wednesday 19th February
  • Wednesday 26th February
  • Wednesday 5th March

All these sessions start at 10:30am and finish at 1:30pm. This training is also at The Advonet Group office.
