WHAT WE OFFER
We have exciting opportunities for people with learning disabilities to join our Trainee programme. Our trainees help with every aspect of running the cafe. We support them to build their self confidence, skills and qualifications in Food Safety.
We run cookery courses twice a week for adults with learning disabilities who enjoy cooking. The group help choose easy recipes that will enable you to cook at home and become more independent. These groups are a great way to learn important skills and make some friends!
We are proud to be working with several local businesses who support our trainees and provide work opportunities for them. If you are interested in becoming an employer who provides work placements for cafe trained adults with learning disabilities please get in touch.
We are an approved Highfield Training Centre with an award winning tutor. We offer training courses for anyone wanting to gain their NVQ qualifications in order to work in the catering industry. If you’d like more information please get in touch.
