Christmas Events in 2021
During the festive period of 2021 and for the two months in the run up to Christmas our new enterprise AND Clothes held several market days in the Food Court @LeedsMarkets
The days started bright and early with the team heading down to Kirkgate to set up at 9am for xmas shoppers. Everyone wrapped up warm with flasks of hot drinks to see us through the day!
The AND team members had been very busy preparing new artwork which included framed clay decorations and inspirational quotes designed by them. Hand made christmas tree decorations and christmas cards were also being prepared for the stall days in November and December. It all made very good practice for how busy things really get at this time of year for small businesses like ours.
AND’s new winter clothing collection also went on sale which included a lovely butterfly design by Susan, a striking signature logo design by Joe, Colleen’s graphic sunflowers and the infamous Chops the Cat by Ashley.
The whole team got some invaluable hands on experience of setting up and running a stall. It was a fantastic opportunity to practice customer service skills, money skills as well as promoting the brand to all the visitors in the market.
The events were such a success we plan to set up regular dates with Leeds Markets to run more events in 2022. We’d like to say a BIG thank you to the Events team at Leeds Markets for all their support and Andrina from Voluntary Action Leeds for letting us take over your space.
